Sexuality is who you are in relation to how you interact with others, and the ways in which they affect you. Gender is the state of your soul on it's own. It is a performance, a presentation to the world, a category that we fit all elements of ourselves into. Truly, it IS every element of ourselves.

Gender is also an expectation. When we go along with the gender associated with our sex, there are rules we must follow. The belief of inherent differences based on sex means the social construct of gender is also misconstrued to be natural, biological, necessary. Those who recognize that they're outside this boundary are ostracized.
